Sheikh Trad Al Khraisha

Sheikh Trad Al Khraisha was one of the most prominent war sheikhs of the powerful Bedouin tribe Bani Sakher. Sheikh Trad is a descendant of a noble and a very distinguished line of leaders of the tribe. Son of Sheikh Jdai' and grandson and great grandson of the infamous sheikhs Nimr Al Salman and Mitlag Al Salman. It is documented that he led the troops of four major bedouin tribes in an invasion which was the last in Jordan against tribes residing in Al Amarat in Iraq. It is also documented that he received the vanguards of the great Arab revolutionary army in Amman-Jordan. Sheikh Trad was the first of his tribe to pledge his allegiance to the Hashemites, and has good relation with the majali's His son Barakat later a Sheikh and a prominent leader in Jordanian life was the first person among other eleven sons of sheikhs to be chosen by King Abdullah I of Jordan to form the Jordanian Bedouin Army forming the nucleus of the later Jordanian army. Sheikh Trad is remembered by three sons and many grandsons.
