The Alliance for Europe of the Nations is a pan-European political party that gathers conservative and national-conservative parties from across the continent. MEPs elected from its member-parties are expected to sit in the affiliated Union for Europe of the Nations group in the European Parliament. It has nationalist and eurosceptic policies.

While the AEN in the broad is national-conservative, some members are uncomfortable with this political line. Fianna Fáil is centrist and there is a strong movement for the party to leave AEN and join the European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party. Also National Alliance, which despite its post-fascist background is a moderate national-conservative party strongly promoting European integration, is growing uncomfortable with AEN and is seeking admission to the European People's Party.

The AEN's membership has been in broad decline since its foundation, with many of the more notable parties in their respective states leaving the formation for other pan-European blocs, and most new members lacking electoral representation. At its first meeting, participants included the Czech Civic Democratic Party, Portuguese CDS, Israeli Likud, and the Greek Popular Orthodox Rally, all of which have since left the organization.
