Mega Man Legends series , appearing in the second installment.History
In
The Misadventures of Tron Bonne , Glyde and his Birdbots worked for Loath until they were captured and put in prison by the Bonnes. Glyde is apparently able to escape, but for some reason Loath is never heard from again. In Legends 2, Glyde and his Birdbots ventured out by themselves and suffered their first defeats at the hands ofMegaman Trigger .Personality
Glyde is the quintessential "pretty boy" of all the pirates in the Legends series. He is also considerably much more sinister and more silver tongued than the Bonnes. Overall, his personality is the counter to that of the Bonne family, despite the fact that they are both on the opposite side of justice. While Tron treats her Servbots like they're her children, Glyde looks at his Birdbots as nothing more than employees (and vice versa).
Bird bots
Birdbots are the robotic servants of Glyde and serve as his army of fighters. In fact, most of Glyde's robots look like birds. The Birdbots, just like Servbots, can also operate fighting and flying machines and even Birdbot Dozers.
Birdbots are essentially the opposite of everything the Servbots are. While the Servbots are unconditionally loyal to Tron, very childlike, and have high pitched squeaky voices, the Birdbots are disloyal, mean spirited, and have low nasal voices.
NetNavi counterpart
In the Battle Network series, there is a
NetNavi based of off Glyde known as Glide.EXE. His operator is a girl named Yai Ayanokoji, known as Yaito in Japan. Yai is also based on a Megaman Legends character, an NPC who gives you quizzes (which are practice tests that prepare you for the Mayor's quiz) in Pokte, a village in Manda.
