Ananda Gotrikas

Anand (Happiness) + Gotrika (Clan) (335-425AD) Anandas are also referred to as Ananda Gotrikas. They ruled coastal Andhra with Kapotapuram as the capital after defeating the last Ikshvaku king in the battle of Dhanyakataka. The Telugu form of Kapotapuram is Pittalapuram. It is located in Chejerla mandal of Nellore District.
