Eleven ships in the Royal Danish-Norwegian Navy have been named Norske Løve. The name translates as Norwegian Lion and is a reference to the Coat of Arms of Norway.
The merchant ship Nordische Löwe (-1707) is also often referred to as Norske Løve.
