March 8 ,1985 inSarajevo ,Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a Bosnian-Dutch football player. He is 6'2" (188 cm) tall and weighs 176 lbs (78 kg). Međunjanin is a left-footed player who operates mainly as attacking midfielder or on the left side.He moved to Netherlands at the age of seven. Međunjanin currently plays for
Real Valladolid .Međunjanin was part of the Dutch U-21 team that won the
2006 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship . In 2007 he was called up by coachFoppe de Haan to be part of his squad for the2007 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship held in the Netherlands. The Dutch went on to retain their 2006 title by beating Serbia 4–1 in the final, and in the process qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games inBeijing .Međunjanin is currently out of favour with U-21 coach Foppe De Haan. The player was not included in the 22-man Olympic squad.
