Sognamål (literally "Sogn language") is a conservative Norwegian dialect which is spoken in the area of
Sogn . One of the most prominent features of Sognamål is the pronunciation "ao" instead of "å" in many words, similar to Modern Icelandic. The viking/black metal bandWindir fromSogndal used the Sognamål dialect in their lyrics.Samples
