Yockleton is a village in
Shropshire ,England .It is west of the county town of

There is one local pub, the Yockleton Arms, several miles west on the B4386, a [http://yockletonchurch.co.uk/ Village Church] (C of E) with its own website, and a village hall, as well as an old people's home in the old Vicarage.Previously Yockleton boasted a school, a garage apost office and a pub right in the heart of the village. These have progressively closed as the village has developed into a commuter village forShrewsbury .There is a lovelyMotte and Bailey in a field not far from the church.
