Yockleton is a village in Shropshire, England.

It is west of the county town of Shrewsbury, just off the B4386 to Montgomery and near to the River Severn, at Grid reference gbmapping|SJ405105 ( [http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&GridE=-2.8900&GridN=52.6850&lon=-2.8900&lat=52.6850&db=freegaz&lang=&addr1=&client=public&addr2=&advanced=&addr3=&pc=&quicksearch=yockleton&scale=100000&cidr_client=none&place=Yockleton,Shropshire map] ). There is one local pub, the Yockleton Arms, several miles west on the B4386, a [http://yockletonchurch.co.uk/ Village Church] (C of E) with its own website, and a village hall, as well as an old people's home in the old Vicarage.Previously Yockleton boasted a school, a garage a post office and a pub right in the heart of the village. These have progressively closed as the village has developed into a commuter village for Shrewsbury.There is a lovely Motte and Bailey in a field not far from the church.

It is near to Ford and Westbury.
