Len Lopresti is a fictional character on the HBO drama "Oz", played by Carl DiMaggio.

Character overview

A Correction's Officer in the titular prison, Lopresti is a mean-spirited, racist bully who terrorizes non-white inmates. From Season 4 onward, he acts as the supervising officer on death row, where he treats every inmate horribly. The exception of Shirley Bellinger, with whom he begins a sexual relationship. He does little of consequence throughout the rest of the series, playing one of the main recurring officers who supervises Death Row. In season 5 however, he is attacked by a dog trained by inmate Greg Penders, who refused to clean up after his dog, provoking Lopresti to attack him.
