Felix Jaeger is a major fictional character in the Gotrek and Felix series of books set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe. His longtime companion is the Dwarf Slayer, Gotrek Gurnisson

The eldest son of the wealthy Jaeger family, Felix attended a prestigious University and had a promising career as a poet before being expelled for killing a fellow student in a duel. Felix fled after the incident and became an instigator of the infamous Window Tax Riots of Altdorf. This demonstration of public feeling swiftly degenerated into a brutal riot, and the Emperor was forced to order the Reiksguard to pacify the mob. The knights charged headlong into the citizens of Altdorf, with disastrous results. Felix, horrified by his involvment in what was threatening to become a massacre, attempted to intervene, putting himself between the Reiksguard and a panicking crowd of women and children.

Whether moved by Felix's courage or stupidity, the Dwarf slayer, Gotrek Gurnisson, intervened, cutting down a score of the knights before pulling Felix to safety. After a drunken binge of truly epic proportions, Felix woke up to realise he had pledged to follow Gotrek across the world and record his doom in an epic poem.

Felix has long given up any hope of ever returning to his family alive. However, the chapters of series' books are prefaced as if they were authored by Felix, implying he manages to somehow survive whatever mighty doom fate had in store for Gotrek and publishes their adventures in the Old World.

Felix wields Karaghul, a blade with a dragon hilt recovered from the fallen hold of Karak Eight Peaks. A relic of the Order of the Fiery Heart, it was forged to slay dragons. Although Felix is a talented swordsman and duellist, Gotrek generally saves Felix from certain death.

He has appeared as one of the two lead characters in all eight of the Gotrek & Felix novel series, written by William King and (From Orcslayer onwards) Nathan Long, published by the Black Library. Felix also appeared in the 1992 edition of Games workshops "Warhammer armies: The Empire", in a short story featuring Gotrek and another of his companions from the black library series, Snorri Nosebiter.

During his travels with Gotrek, Felix develops serious relationships with three women. Ulrika Magdova, the daughter of a Kislevite nobleman whom he met in Middenheim and who becomes a close companion of the pair, seems to be the most lasting and most serious among the three; however, the turbulent nature of their relationship, and other circumstances, pushed them apart.

Felix also struck up a relationship with a young woman called Kirsten while escorting a caravan in the direction of Karak Eight Peaks at the behest of Gotrek. It was implied that Felix loved her enough to want to marry her, settle down and forsake his vow to Gotrek; however, Kirsten was murdered by a traitor during a goblin attack on their fort. Felix's outlook on life became much bleaker following her death.

He also enjoyed a brief relationship with a tavern girl called Elissa whilst staying in Nuln for a time. This relationship proved only temporary, ending due to the circumstances of their relationship changing, coupled with a skaven attack on Nuln.
