Eva Mottley

Eva Mottley

Eva Mottley (1 January 1953 - 14 February 1985) was a British actress, best known for her role as Bella O'Reilly in the acclaimed television drama "Widows".

She made other TV appearances, including a memorable guest role on the sitcom "Only Fools and Horses" as Corinne, the sharp-tongued wife of regular character Denzil (played by Paul Barber).

She left the production of "Widows 2" due to disagreements with the production team and on 14 February 1985, whilst on holiday in Miami, Florida she was found dead from a drugs overdose. Her death was declared as suicide. "Widows 2" was broadcast nearly two months later, with the role of Bella having been taken over by Debby Bishop.
