Regent's Park tube station is a London Underground station by Regent's Park. It is on the Bakerloo Line, between Baker Street and Oxford Circus. It is in Travelcard Zone 1. It opened on 10 March 1906.
It is one of the few stations which have no station signage above ground, though there are a number of Zone 1 stations lacking surface buildings.
Regent's Park closed on the 10 July 2006 to allow essential refurbishment work on the station and its lifts. It was due to reopen on 12 June 2007 after completion of the work, and eventually did on June 14, two days behind schedule.
The station is adjacent to Park Crescent, a row of Regency townhouses. Nearby points of interest to Regent's Park tube station include Harley Street, which is renowned for its doctors and surgeons, as well as the southern part of Regent's Park itself.
Great Portland Street tube station is within easy walking distance to the east.
