Martin Wolfenden is a British comedian best known for his surreal take on the world and current affairs.

Biography

He was born in the West Yorkshire town of Halifax.

In 2000 he started a website called Brainjam with his friend Andy Wilson.

However he is predominantly a comedy writer and stand-up comedian and has contributed material to a number of radio shows and newspaper and magazine columns.

He still appears occasionally in stand-up with a strange mix of surreal observation and satire.

Currently he can be heard in The Gentleman's Review podcast a fortnightly ramble through the news with Andy Wilson and Tom Stringfellow and the Dab and Tench podcast with his comedy partner Andrew Wilson.

In 2011 at the Edinburgh Fringe he and Andrew Wilson began performing as comedy characters Dab and Tench.
