Bjørnar Valstad (born
April 27 ,1967 ) is a Norwegian orienteering athlete who has won 4World Orienteering Championships (WOC) gold medals.He retired from international
orienteering at the end of the2004 season where he became world champion in both the long and relay events, despite this he failed to make theOrienteering World Cup final round inGermany .Valstad runs for and coaches the Norwegian club Baekkelagets SK in Oslo.
