Lively is perhaps best remembered for her role in the film "Teen Witch". She is sometimes credited as Robyn Lively or Robyn Elaine Lively. Her younger sister Blake Lively is known for playing Serena on The CW's "Gossip Girl".

Biography

Career

Lively began her career as a child actress. At age six, she made her screen debut in the television movie "Summer of My German Soldier" in 1978. [http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001477/ IMDb credits] ]

Throughout the 1980s, she appeared in several television shows and movies including "Punky Brewster", "Wildcats" with Goldie Hawn, "The Karate Kid, Part III", and "Not Quite Human".

In the 1990s, Lively landed roles on "Twin Peaks", "Doogie Howser, M.D.", and "Chicago Hope". In 1996, she appeared as Lane McKenzie, one of three lead characters in the short-lived WB drama "Savannah".

Most recently, Lively has appeared alongside Holly Hunter in an episode of "Saving Grace" and also had a role in "Cold Case".

Personal life

Born into a family of actors; both her parents and all four siblings are, or have been, in the entertainment industry. Her parents are Ronnie Lively and Elain Lively and stepfather Ernie Brown who, after his marriage to Elain, changed his last name to Lively. Her siblings are sister Lori Lively and Blake Lively (born 1987), her brothers are Jason Lively (born 1968) and Eric Lively (born 1981). Lively married fellow actor Bart Johnson on 25 September 1999. The couple have three children: Baylen, Kate, and Wyatt Blake.
