Pól Brennan (in Irish "Pól Ó Braonáin") pronounced|ˈpʷɔːlˠ ə ˈbɾɨːnˠan is an Irish singer, songwriter and producer. [http://www.clannad.net/clannad/main.html/] He was formerly a member of the family band
Clannad , he even co-wrote the hit song "Theme From Harry's Game ", but since the early 1990s he has gained critical acclaim as a solo artist when he joined a Japanese musician named Joji Hirota and a Chinese musician named Guo Yue, and released an album under the name "Trísan". The music on this album is a mixture of Celtic and Japanese musical styles. More recent, Pól wrote the soundtrack of the movie "When The Sky Falls" (1999) and performed at the 2001 Carnvaha festival inWexford ,Ireland . He has toured extensively all over the world and is also joined by many popular artists. He is the brother ofEnya and Moya Brennan. In 2008 Pól won theIFTA award for "Best Original Score" for his work on the Irish film "Kings".
