Wide Prairie is a posthumous compilation by Linda McCartney. The album was compiled and released in 1998 by Paul McCartney after his wife's death, after a fan wrote in inquiring about "Seaside Woman" a reggae beat type song. [http://www.macca-central.com/albums/wideprairie/index.cfm] Paul gathered up all her recordings and put them together with the help of Capitol Records and MPL Communications. Lead guitar on the album is played by the McCartneys' son, musician/sculptor James McCartney.
