International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation

The International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) is an international sports organization that governs sports for wheelchair users and amputees.

IWAS was formed in 2005 by a merger of the International Stoke Mandeville Wheelchair Sports Federation (ISMWSF) and the International Sports Federation of the Disabled (ISOD). IWAS is headquartered in Stoke Mandeville, Great Britain.

IWAS is the international governing body for wheelchair fencing and wheelchair rugby. IWAS also governs other sport competitions for wheelchair users and amputees, including athletics (track and field), cue sports, and lawn bowls.
