Tintinhull is a village and civil parish close to the A303 near Yeovil, convert|2.5|mi|km|0|lk=on south west of Ilchester, in Somerset, England. The village is on the Fosse Way.

The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. [cite web|url=http://www.tintinhull-localhistory.org.uk/html/normans.html|title=Normans|publisher=Tintinhull Local History Group|accessdate=2008-08-06] The surrounding landscape shows evidence of 2000 years of farming.

As well as a school of 91 pupils, Tintinhull has a church, park, swimming pool and other amenities.

Architecture

Most of the buildings are honey coloured Ham stone. These include several 16th–18th century buildings including the 17th century Tintinhull House [cite web |url=http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=425669 |title=Tintinhull House |accessdate=2008-03-17 |format= |work=Images of England ] at Tintinhull Garden which is now National Trust property.

The Church of St Margaret has origins in the 13th century and has been designaed by English Heritage as a grade I listed building, [cite web |url=http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=426090 |title=Church of St Margaret |accessdate=2008-03-17 |format= |work=Images of England ] as has the old parsonage which is now called Tintinhull Court.
