Brian Glencross

Brian Glencross OAM (born May 1, 1941 in Narrogin, Western Australia) is a retired field hockey player from Australia, who won the bronze medal with the Men's National Team at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. Four years later, when Mexico City hosted the Games, he was a member of the team, that captured the silver medal. As a player he represented Australia from 1964-74, played in 93 games.

After his active career Glencross became a hockey coach. He guided the Australian Women's Hockey Team at three Summer Olympics, starting in 1984. In 1988 the team won the golden medal under his guidance. He was succeeded by his former team mate Ric Charlesworth. Glencross was inducted in the Australian Hall of Fame in 1991.
