Elvis Knapman

Elvis Aaron Knapman (born May 10, 1985 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian race car driver who competed in the CASCAR Sportsman series.

Racing career

Knapman had a background in kart racing and other racing forms that spanned many years before his time in CASCAR.

Elvis' first CASCAR race was on April 19, 2002, he was 16 years of age, which made him the youngest driver ever to compete in a CASCAR-sanctioned event. He finished nineteenth. On May 24, 2002 he suffered serious injuries in a horrific 2 car crash while running in third position. He made a surprising return to CASCAR just over a year later at Delaware Speedway in Delaware, Ontario on June 13, 2003, finishing sixteenth, but hasn't raced since.
