Paul A. Winn is a
Canadian human rights activist , andlawyer .He is currently a director and interim Chief of the
Canadian Race Relations Foundation , a Canadiancrown corporation with a goal of building a nationalframework for thefight againstracism in Canadian society [Canadian Race Relations Foundation Act ( 1991, c. 8 ) [http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/C-21.8/32663.html#rid-32670] ] . Mr Winn is also past president of theBlack Historical and Cultural Society ofBritish Columbia .In the 1980s, Mr. Winn wrote and hosted a weekly
Canadian television program entitled "The Canadians", which surveyed the multicultural communities of Canadian society [Canadian Race Relations Foundation Online [http://www.crr.ca/Load.do?section=80&subSection=115&type=2] ] . He was the firstvisible minority host of a national television program inCanada .Mr. Winn was active in the "Anti-discrimination directorate" of the
Canadian government in the 1980s and 1990s, before pursuing a law degree at theUniversity of British Columbia .
