Milan Veruović

Milan Veruoviċ was the bodyguard of former prime minister of Serbia Zoran Đinđić. He was shot in the stomach during the prime minister's assassination . The bullet came from a high power sniper rifle and did large amounts of damage, although he did not lose consciousness. He was head of Djindjic's personal security detail.

Milan Veruović and six other bodyguard testified at the assassin's trial that three shots were fired and they think shots may also have been fired from a different location the indictment states. The indictment states two bullets were fired from one place.

Veruović has also stated that he suspects there was a planned conspiracy, involving Serbian security personnel.
