The Kurdish Wikipedia (Kurdish: "Wîkîpediya, Ensîklopediya Azad" in Latin script, unicode|ویکیپێدیا, ئه‌نسیکلۆپێدیای ئازاد in Arabic script, meaning "Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia") is the Kurdish language version of Wikipedia, and is operated by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation. As of June 1, 2007, it has 9,250 articles. [ [http://ku.wikipedia.org Kurdish Wikipedia] , accessed June 1, 2007] It is written in both the Latin-based and the Arabic-based variations of Kurdish alphabet, although Arabic alphabet articles are more often underdeveloped than Latin script, and all the templates and messages use Latin script only. Interwiki links appear in both Latin and Arabic.
