war timeairfield inNorthumberland , 20 miles north of Newcastle, midway between Morpeth andAlnwick .From
10 November 1942 duringWorld War II it was home toNo. 57 OTU RAF . microlight s and smalllight aircraft .It has both Tarmac and grass runways.
