Penamacor (pron. IPA2|pɨnɐmɐ'koɾ or [IPA|penɐmɐ'koɾ] ) is a municipality in Portugal with an area of 563.9 km² and a population of 6,160 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of 12 parishes and is located in the district of Castelo Branco.

The mayor is Domingos Manuel Bicho Torrão, elected by the Socialist Party.

The municipal holiday is the Easter Monday.
