PKP railway station inSłonowice (Pomeranian Voivodeship ),Poland , originally built to serve the estate of Gross Schlönwitz, the property of the von Blumenthal family who inherited it from Valeskavon Krockow , wife of Herrmannvon Blumenthal . During the 1930s it was 90 % owned by Professor Albrechtvon Blumenthal , 10% by his brother Robert, who resided there. He permitted the vicarage to be used as an illegal seminary by the Lutheran pastor and theologianDietrich Bonhoeffer .The manor house burned down by chance. The place was overrun by communists who incorporated the estate into the Zitzewitz Kombinat. The Vicarage and church are still to be seen; the latter, now Catholic, contains a painting of
Dietrich Bonhoeffer as a Christ-figure.Lines crossing the station
