Tim Lichfield

Timothy Charles Lichfield (born 24 July 1981 in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands) is a British radio & TV presenter.

Lichfield started his career at Sandwell Hospital Radio in 1996, then quickly moved up in the industry.

His past radio stations include London's Capital Radio, Capital Disney & BRMB.

At BRMB, Tim was known as "Tiger Tim" for some time and presented various shifts, but most notably overnights from 2000-2004. Whilst working in Birmingham, Tim also presented 4-6am on Capital Gold and produced Tom Ross on the Breakfast Show, which he would cover when Tom was off. Tim also worked as an audio producer, creating the two station's on-air production.

For 6 months in late 2003, Tim was based in London at Capital Radio as a producer for the network. He then returned to Birmingham until June 2004 to present at BRMB again.

It was in June when Tim went back to London to host the overnight show on Capital 95.8 during the week, a position he held until May 2007.

He's also worked for a few of the other stations in the GCAP group, including Red Dragon FM, Power FM, Southern FM, Ten-17 FM and Essex FM from September 2007-January 2008, presenting weekdays 1-4pm and Sunday 10am-2pm. Tim has also freelanced for BBC Radio One (as a producer), BFBS, Virgin Radio and Hallam FM.

As well as radio, Tim has also worked in TV as a host on bid tv, price-drop TV, Webchats TV, Avenue 11 and the original series of Quizmania.

In 2004, a documentary about working nights featured Tim working at BRMB which was shown on Channel 4 and in 2006 he appeared on Chantelle's Dream Dates, a dating show and was picked by the female contestant for a date.

Currently, Lichfield is an presenter for Virgin Radio on Mondays to Thursdays between 1-4am and Fridays between 10pm and 2am. He is also a presenter of Quizmania's online-only revival, alongside Lottie Mayor, Kirsty Duffy and Andy Jaye.
