Before immigrating toPersia , his predecessors were settled in theeastern province of Saudi Arabia (inAl-Ahsa region) after moving fromMedina . Ayatollah Khomeini in his revolution against theShah of Iran . Later he started a political reformist movement in his country. Within a few months of theIslamic Revolution , he was forced to leave Kuwait with his family as the authorities sought to prevent an Islamic Revolution in the state. He decided to stay the rest of his holy life in Iran in the holy city ofQom . He continued his Islamic studies and his support for the Islamic Revolution until he died in 1988.He proposed opening of the first
Jafari school in Kuwait which was later called The Jafari School (المدرسة الجعفرية). After a big effort, he could finally establish the school in Surrah, Kuwait. After he left Kuwait, his name was removed from the school and the landlord declared ownership of it and replaced his name as the founder.His eldest son Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Almohri was one of the most respected scholars in Kuwait.
