Lennoxtown (Scots Gaelic "Baile na Leamhnachd" pronounced|b̊alə nə ʎãũnəxg̊) is a town in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland, at the foot of the Campsie Fells, which are just to the north.

It is now part of the East Dunbartonshire council area, but prior to 1975 it was in the county of Stirling.

Lennoxtown was originally called Newtown of Campsie. During the nineteenth century, Lennoxtown became a thriving industrial town with the expansion of printing and chemical works. In 1812, the Lennoxtown Friendly Victualling Society was set up and was one of the earliest societies of its kind in Scotland. In recent years the town has suffered from the decline of local industries. However, Lennoxtown still remains a popular place to set up home with its surrounding countryside.

A number of notable people were born in Lennoxtown including Labour Party politician Ian McCartney and famous pop singer Lulu (real name Marie McDonald Lawrie) since it contained Lennox Castle Hospital, which was used as a maternity hospital from 1941 to 1964.

On the grounds of the hospital, Celtic F.C.'s new training ground opened on the 9th of September 2007.

The Roman Catholic Church, The Church of Scotland and the Free Church of Scotland each have a congregation in the town, all situated on the Main Street.Lennoxtown has long been known as the gateway to The Campsies - it has for some time held an almost mythical significance to road cyclists who clench their teeth and hammer up the Crow Road into the hills. Whilst not as brutal a cycling challenge as Kilsyth's yet more mythical Tak-Ma-Doon road, it does present a significant challenge to the unconditioned.
