*"T. faciles" Dong, 1973 (type)"Tugulusaurus" (meaning "Tugulu lizard") is a
genus oftheropod dinosaur from earlyCretaceous Tugulu Formation in the Urhe area of China. Originally classified as acoelurosaur , it is generally considered a "nomen dubium ": only parts of one skeleton, namely a few tailvertebra e, a right hind leg, two fingers, and some ribs, have been discovered. However, recent research suggests that it is a valid genus of basal coelurosaurian of unknown affinities.cite journal |last=Rauhut |first=Oliver W.M. |coauthors=and Xu, Xing |year=2005 |title=The small theropod dinosaurs "Tugulusaurus" and "Phaedrolosaurus" from the Early Cretaceous of Xinjiang, China |journal=Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology |volume=25 |issue=1 |pages=107–118 |doi=10.1671/0272-4634(2005)025 [0107:TSTDTA] 2.0.CO;2 |doilabel=10.1671/0272-4634(2005)025[0107:TSTDTA]2.0.CO;2]References
