Stephen Caudel was born in
Sheffield ,Yorkshire , England. He attended the City ofLeeds College of Music and it was here that he first started to be drawn to progressive orsymphonic rock .His first
symphony was "Wine Dark Sea" (sponsored by Capital Radio) and was premiered at London's Victoria Palace with the Wren Orchestra conducted byLouis Clark of "Hooked on Classics " and ELO fame.After "Wine Dark Sea" came the demand for live performances and over the years Stephen toured extensively in Britain and overseas, including 3 nights at the
Royal Albert Hall as Special Guest ofArt Garfunkel .The Earth in Turquoise' is Stephen's latest symphonic rock composition, now available on CD via his own Dark Sea Records label. In addition it has been featured extensively on the Virgin FM Rock Show.
The Edel rhapsody was written for the
Wagner tuba .Stephen currently lives in
Cumbria where he splits his time between music and designing web sites.External links
