Highland Railway and was known as Keith Junction. It was the point where the Highland Railway fromInverness joined theGreat North of Scotland Railway fromAberdeen to enable exchange of goods and passengers. Keith's other station, Keith Town, was on the Great North of Scotland Railway, and was much nearer the town of Keith than the Junction station.rail line
