St. Mary's Church, Dublin

St. Mary's Church, Dublin is a former Church of Ireland building that dates from 1627. The architect was Sir William Robinson, and it is notable as the first Dublin church to be built with galleries. Theobald Wolfe Tone was baptised in the church in 1763 and Sean O'Casey the playwright was baptised there in 1880. Arthur Guinness married here in 1761. [ [http://www.thechurch.ie/content/view/8/13/ TheChurch.ie - History of the church] ]

The church, located in Mary Street, closed in 1986 and became a retail outlet. It has been converted to use as a pub and restaurant, named "John M. Keating Bar". In September 2007 the owner changed, now it is simply called "The Church".
