Carleton School of Journalism

Carleton School of Journalism

The School of Journalism and Communication is the journalism school at Carleton University.

It has one of the best reputations for journalism studies in North America. Graduates from the journalism program include such luminaries as Edward Greenspon, editor-in-chief of the Globe and Mail and Nahlah Ayed, Middle East correspondent for the CBC.

Rwanda Initiative

Recently Carleton launched a program with the National University of Rwanda called "The Rwanda Initiative" in which School of Journalism professors have the opportunity to teach in Rwanda and journalism students have the opportunity for internships at The New Times, the major daily newspaper in Rwanda.
