Toby Christian Haenen (born
October 8 ,1973 inLaunceston, Tasmania ) is anAustralia n backstroke swimmer of the 1990s, who won a bronze medal in the 4 × 100 m medley relay at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He also competed in the1992 Summer Olympics inBarcelona ,Spain .Haenen had an unsuccessful debut in 1992 at the Barcelona Games, where he finished 45th and 35th respectively in the 100 m and 200 m backstroke.
At the
1996 Summer Olympics inAtlanta , Haenen swum the backstroke leg in the heats of the 4 × 100 m medley relay, before being replaced bySteven Dewick in the team that trailed theUnited States andRussia home in the final. Haenen did not compete in any individual events.External links
