Western Spirit Football Club are an Australian football (soccer) club from Goodna, a suburb of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. The club was formed in 2005 from a merger between Goodna Soccer Club and Camira Soccer Club and currently play in Brisbane Premier League Division 1.the club is also a largely popular, and fast growing club, that draw its members mainly from Goodna, camira, redbank plains, forestlake, inala and even greenbank.although western spirit is a relatively new club it has fast become one of the "premier" clubs of the area, with it being one of the largest clubs in the area, as well as being 1 of only 3 clubs in the district to have 2 or more fields being in ownership of the club.the club offers almost every age-group and gender, membership, with members participating in an active team. one of the particularly interesting things that this club offers, is the "development" squad. it essentially takes the rising stars or players that either show particular talent or ability to learn, and put them in a fast pace environment where they are challenged to raise their level of skill and learn to play as a team.

Rivalry

The spirit maintains a close rivalry with the Ipswich Knights. This is because both clubs are not far apart in geographic terms. But it is known Western Spirit always come out on top.
