Sud-Ubangi (South Ubangi) is one of the provinces created in the Democratic Republic of Congo by the Constitution of May 2005 which became law on 18 February 2006. It lies in the north of the country on the Ubangi River and was formerly part of the province of Équateur.

No census has been conducted in the DRC since 1984, and population estimates are unreliable. As of the presidential election of 30 July 2006, some 890,000 voters were registered in Sud-Ubangi, of a national total of 25.4 million (3.5% of the total).
