Oak Grove School (Jharipani, Mussoorie, India)

Oak Grove School got its name because of the many oak trees in the surrounding area. It is situated on hill tops covering 256 acres in Jharipani, Mussoorie, India. Jharipani means drizzle and the onslaught of monsoons. The school was started by British East India Company on June 1 1888. The students are the children of the Indian Railways employees with only 25% seats reserved for outsiders. At present there are 560 students.
