Viswanathan's view of Hinduism

Ed Viswanathan believes that Hinduism is the true culture and the way of life of Indians in IndiaFact|date=April 2008. He maintains that it is not an organized religion like Christianity or Islam and unlike them has never had a "cleaning up period" as with the reformation of Christianity. He maintains that all Asian religions are derivatives of Hinduism and that in studying Hindu texts, you are actually studying about the history and culture of India.
