Fossil Ridge High School is a high school located in north Fort Worth, Texas. It is the second high school of the Keller Independent School District. The original building was built in 1995 for 9th and 10th graders; an expansion was built in 1997-1998 to accommodate 11th and 12th graders.

The current principal of the school is David Hadley.

The school mascot is a panther and the school colors are black and gold. The school also contains a theater, two gymnasiums, a library, and a cafeteria.

Most Fossil Hill Middle School graduates and some Trinity Springs Middle School graduates feed into Fossil Ridge High School.

FRHS currently has a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:17.

Athletics

Basketball

The Fossil Ridge Panthers are the reigning 6-4A champions in Basketball having posted a 29-4 record and a 16-0 record in district play.Fact|date=August 2008

Football

Fossil Ridge currently has two Freshmen teams (Black and Gold), two Junior Varsity teams (Black and Gold), and a Varsity team. The teams play at the Keller Sports Complex, which includes an artificial turf field and sits directly across the street from Keller High School.

The 2006 varsity game received online video coverage from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and KXAS NBC 5. In the past, the rivalry game had playoff implications. Since 2006, Fossil Ridge has been classified to Class 4-A (Keller High School is Class 5-A), and recent rivalry games are mostly for bragging rights. Fossil Ridge has won three consecutive match ups against rival Keller High School (2005-2007) and six of the all ten games (1996-2007).clarifyme|post-text=(what?)Fact|date=August 2008

Other sports played at Fossil Ridge include baseball, softball, track and field, wrestling, power lifting, volleyball, tennis, golf, basketball, soccer, swimming and diving, bowling, rodeo, cross country, and ice hockey (district-wide team).

JROTC

Fossil Ridge currently has an AFJROTC program. However, the program takes place at Central High School, a neighboring school in the KISD. The program consists of participants from all 3 KISD high schools.

Marching Band & Colorguard

The Fossil Ridge Panther Regiment is a marching band and colorguard.
