Wellington Barracks, Hong Kong

Wellington Barracks (Chinese: 威靈頓兵房) was a barracks in Admiralty of Central on the north side of Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It was built in 1854. The barracks had an army hospital, and this still exists as Hong Kong International School. The barracks were closed in 1979 and demolished in 1992.Fact|date=August 2007 The site was later rebuilt: north of the Queensway became Pacific Place and south the Harcourt Garden.
