Western & Southern Financial Group, also commonly referred to as Western & Southern, is a Cincinnati, Ohio-based diversified family of financial services companies with assets owned, under management and under its care in excess of $47 billion. Western & Southern hosts the Western & Southern Financial Group Cincinnati Masters tennis tournament, one of the nine (men's) events in the ATP Tennis Masters Series. The company also hosts the Western & Southern Financial Group Women’s Open, currently the only WTA Tour event in the U.S. Midwest, and which will become one of the 20 premier events and part of the U.S. Open Series in 2009. Western & Southern’s title sponsorship of the 2006 Western & Southern Financial Group Masters and Women’s Open tennis tournaments attracted nearly 208,000 attendees and more than 18.8 million television viewers in 189 countries. These world-class tennis events generate more than $25 million annually for the regional economy and charitable contributions to the Greater Cincinnati community.
