"Nitto 1320 (V1)"

Nitto 1320 was a popular virtual drag racing game created by Nitto Tires.

The game has over a half a million registered players. It is a freeware program which can be played for free, but a participant can become a premium player for a fee and gain extra benefits. The game is based on drag racing, where a player starts off with a car and races to earn credits which can be used to buy parts or new cars to climb their way up the ranks to try and become the fastest and best in the game. The game offers many customization options from Turbo right down to what the car license plates say.

A person named Wally who played under the name 'Lebanese Beast' and other assorted usernames was one of the game's few legends, but has reportedly quit because the revamped version of the game fell short of his expectations. He was reported as saying: 'This new game is fucking shit. They've fucked the whole thing up'.

Nitto Legends (V2)

In January 2007, Nitto Tires released a brand new game, "Nitto 1320 Legends", which is a big improvement over the past Nitto 1320 Challenge (V1) game and has a huge big fan base already. The game is as tactical as the original and runs on the same basis, but the drag racing is better. It is better adapted for online play. For example, in Nitto 1320 Challenge, the racing was not viewable by other players. On Nitto 1320 Legends you can go into a race room and watch people race and you can participate also.The game is still in the beta stage, so bugs are common. The graphics have also been improved; this game uses a more 2.5D graphical way to represent everything on screen.
