After graduating from high school, she taught at a
one room school house near Lewis, and later worked at the War Risk Insurance Department inWashington, D.C. upon the start ofWorld War I . Page married Fredric William Page in 1926. He died in 1967. She attributed herlongevity to living a moral life, and taking no medication whatsoever.References
