Cucamonga is the southern district of Rancho Cucamonga, California. It is arguably the oldest part of Rancho Cucamonga.

Education

School districts in Cucamonga include Cucamonga School District and Central School District.Some schools in the CSD also serve Ontario, California.

Residents in Southern Cucamonga are zoned to Chaffey High School in Ontario as residents in Northern Cucamonga are zoned to Alta Loma High School.

Cucamonga's school district has claims as being one of the worst school districts in the city due to low test scores, violence, and overcrowding. Despite these claims many kids that attend do succeed later in life no matter what school they went to.

Population

Out of all of Rancho Cucamonga, Cucamonga has the largest Latino population, followed by Whites, Blacks, Asians, Other Races, and Indians.

Crime

Cucamonga arguably has the highest crime rate out of the Etiwanda and Alta Loma districts primarily because of being the older city more gangs and the things that follow them have roots in the city which date back to the 1970's. Many residents do not want district names because of this problem being with lower/high crime rate in Cucamonga and Alta Loma.
