Jennifer Pertsch is a story editor, writer, and series creator, and one of the founding partners of FRESH TV LTD, a Toronto based production studio specializing in teen and family filmed entertainment. She began her career as a writer for Nelvana Ltd. and has since gone on to co-create three successful preteen series that are now sold around the world.

At Fresh, she is the co-creator and Executive Producer of "6teen, Total Drama Island"' and "Stoked". Jennifer has written extensively in the animation industry, with more than 200 episodic script credits to her name including Braceface (ABC Family/Teletoon), Franklin (CBS/Family Channel), Little Bear (Nick Jr./CBC/TVO), George and Martha (HBO/YTV), The Berenstain Bears (PBS) and Jacob Two Two (Nelvana Ltd.).

AWARDS:In 2007, 6teen was awarded the Alliance for Children and Television's Award of Excellence for programming for children, ages 9-14. Jennifer has received an Emmy nomination for her writing on the award-winning series Rolie Polie Olie, and a Gemini nomination for best animated program for Total Drama Island.
