"Virgins And Philistines" is the debut album by British new wave band, The Colourfield. It was originally released in two different versions: A 10-track LP in the UK, and a 12-track LP in North America. Later when the CD was re-released in Japan it contained 20 tracks, the entire US album plus all of the Singles, B-Sides and Live tracks that were released before "Virgins And Philistines" first came out in April 1985 on Chrysalis.
