Aichi Prefecture . The town belongs to Ama District. In a neighborhood, Kanie-river, Nikkou-river, and Fukuta-river flow to north and south, and each is flowing into Ise bay.As of
2003 , the town has an estimatedpopulation of 36,614 and a density of 3,298.56 persons per km². The total area is 11.10 km².Origin of a name of Kanie town is because there were a lot of crabs.
As for sightseeing of this town,Owarionsen is famous sightseeing.A famous hotel is Matsuokahousenkaku.And a festival in Sunari.This festival is traditional festival about 500 tears.
Special product of this town is Ichijiku and Pottomamu.
