"Frigid" was scheduled as the second single from “Lessons Learned On Leithgow St.”, however when several months of production delays prevented what was to be the album’s first single, Could I Be Your Girl?, from being pressed to compact disc, the decision was made to promote “Girl” and its new remix only to clubs and radio as a 12” promo and "Frigid" as the album’s first commercial single; nearly nine months after “Lessons” dropped in December 1994.
